Effective immediately, we are postponing all Lakehead University Alumni events until further notice.
Lakehead University will welcome alumni and friends back to campus during our annual Homecoming Weekend, taking place from September 28-30, 2017.
Returning alumni will enjoy events that bring together lifelong friends, celebrate alumni excellence, and provide a nostalgic return to the university community. Major events include the Alumni Awards Dinner, Wall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Speakers Series, Open Houses and reunions.

Lakehead University and Philips signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to create an internship program where graduate students can work in medical imaging at Philips Healthcare R&D Centre in Israel.
Lakehead University will recognize five exceptional people at this year’s Convocation Ceremonies on Friday, May 27 and Saturday, May 28 at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium.
The Hon. Jean Charest, Helen Cromarty, and Dr. Keijo Virtanen will each receive an honorary doctorate for their work in politics, health care, and research on Finnish immigration to Canada, respectively.
