Clinical Psychology student receives international leadership award

The Department of Psychology is pleased to announce that Chad Keefe, an MA student in Clinical Psychology, has been awarded the 2015-2016 Wilson Presidential Leadership Award from Psi Chi.

This award was given due to his accomplishments when he served as the President of the Lakehead University’s Psi Chi Chapter during the 2014-2015 academic year.

The award is based on a global competition of Psi Chi Presidents who are nominated for their excellence in working with others to accomplish specific objectives, setting and maintaining high standards of performance, communication skills, and promoting group efforts.

Psi Chi is an international student honor society in Psychology that was founded in 1929 to promote excellence in scholarship and science in psychology and in leadership skills.
